About

The mission of The Galena Generals is to provide historic representation of the 9 Civil War Generals who were from Galena, Illinois and the Galena area. In doing so, members will portray each General as they were during the time of the Civil War. Members will research each General to maintain a correct and accurate portrayal to the best of their ability. Members will provide historic information to the public when attending functions such as parades and public gatherings, or while walking the streets in our community and other communities in our general area. Members will maintain proper attire and also conduct themselves in a proper manner.
